A well executed mash up of two of Chicago’s more notable enterprises of loudness – the long coming Locrian / Harpoon split 7” is finally available for wholesale. The vinyl portion of the release includes one song each by both bands. The accompanying digital card provides additional bonus material. This is Harpoon’s first release with a bass player. As well, Locrian collaborates with Andrew Sherer of Velnias. The release is limited to 300 copies on marble green vinyl with full color double sided insert and letter pressed cover.....If you are truly interested in getting copies for your distro I recommend not waiting. We don’t intend to repress as this is the label’s last physical release.

This tape will be available soon here as well: Peasant Magik

Endless Plains / Flat Horizon c28 / Edition of 100 The beginning of the crest of the wave in our collaborative material. This session was recorded while we were on tour this past summer at Empress of Sound in Washington DC by Greg Svitil (The Antiques/Teething Veils) on Farfisa Organ after our DC show and before the Richmond show. Our most direct kosmiche outing yet.

For distribution information contact: info@peasantmagik.net

Please contact us before ordering these to make sure that we have supplies since these are both extremely limited. We'll consider combining shipping on multiple items so check our distro page if you're interested in anything else. We still have a few copies of the Drenched Lands LP, so get in touch with us soon if you'd like one.

Diophantine Discs has a new shop that you can check out here. We do still have a couple more copies of the Greyfield Shrines LP on Diophantine. We're now sold out of the "Plague Journal" 7" so if you're interested in picking that up, then contact Bloodlust! soon since Bloodlust! is just about out of them for good.

Also, it looks like you can pick up the Undergången - An Audio Companion To The End-Tymes (Cass, Comp, Ltd) from Discogs. This is a beautiful c120 tape that's worth picking up if anything for the Dead Letters Spells Out Dead Words, and Skull Defects, and Sudden Infant tracks. Highly Recommended! Limited to 100 copies!

Rain of Ashes CD Available at Basses Frequences

Here's the description of the record from Fan Death Records:

If Locrian’s latest full length portrays decay and waste when you first see it, “Rain of Ashes” is the is the aftermath once you’ve had time to think about what you’ve just seen. Recorded with no overdubs and no other takes, Locrian went into WMUC studios located at College Park, Maryland to record what became much more than just a session. “Rain of Ashes” is a journey, not of complex feelings, but of realizing the decay and collapse you have just witnessed is real and will never go away. Instead of completely pummeling the listener, the piece slowly rips the listener apart until there is nothing left. Though after Locrian’s first full length “Drenched Lands”, you might have to ask yourself, “is there anything left to begin with in the first place?”

The cd is an edition of 400 and was mastered by Jason Ward at Chicago Mastering.

T. HANNUM - The Mount of All Lands 3" CD

NEW RELEASE:
T. Hannum
The Mount of All Lands
3" CD
Edition of 60

1. Ascend ( Approx: 10 mins)
2. Descend ( Approx: 10 mins)

Two vocal pieces recorded in 2008 finally released on 3" CD in a limited artists edition w/ artwork by SCOTT TRELEAVEN. T. Hannum is one half of LOCRIAN, normally behind a pile of keyboards and tapes, here only his voice is used. These tracks were edited into a soundtrack for the video installation "Back + Forth" in S. Treleaven's exhibition at Kavi Gupta Gallery in Chicago, IL that opens 10/31 (where LOCRIAN will perform their soundtrack to the video "7 Last Words). "Ascend" is the harsher of the two tracks, and introduces the theme of white noise and humming vocalizations while "Descend" grafts a cloudscape to the experience layering hazes of vocal tones. No instruments but voice were used on this recording. Full immersion.

Locrian Comp Tracks Available Now

We finished a remix of a Wilt track to celebrate their 10th year together playing. The 2xCD is available now from Ad Noiseam.

Wilt - Cemetary Road 2xCD from Ad Noiseam

Ad Noiseam Describes this release as:
A double CD celebrating Wilt's tenth anniversary, "Cemetery Road / Dead Electroniks" contains a new full length album by these veterans and central figures of the American's dark experimental scene and a homage CD, in which eleven remixers (from well known acts to newcomers) pay their tribute to the depth and innovation that paved Wilt's way so far. From a deep and touching combination of drones and acoustic sounds to a noisy and demanding new take at the past, Wilt's new opus is both a foundation stone and a beautiful festive statue.

We also have a track coming out on Fukk Tapes Lets Erase very soon. This compilation features some awesome musicians. Titled "Undergången - An Audio Companion To The End-Tymes" Edited by "Fukk tapes let's Erase" in an edition of 100 copies. This collection is more experimental and industial-driven with elements of power electronics. The collection contains 21 constellations. Which is:

The Moon Dogs, Frozen Faces, Death Domain, 0100000, Barrikad, Trepaneringsritualen, Enema Syringe, Jean-Louis Huhta, Sudden Infant, Altar Of Flies, Hetsjakt, Neghantil, Relics, Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words, Cutiefuck, Monster Apparat, Violet & Janel, Lux Aeterna, Adolf Filter, The Skull Defekts and LOCRIAN.

At present it is uncertain how it will be purchased. But probably it will be possible to buy the compilation from "Fukk tapes let's Erase" website. www.fukktapes.org
